Here is an attempt in transcribing the text and a rough translation: „Meine l[iebe] Helene sowie l[ieber] Max! Hoffe daß Ihr so Gott will wohl seid, bitte laßt bald gutes von Euch hören, wir sind wohl und munter mein l[ieber] Herrmann ist ein wenig ausgegangen (?). Er ist so brav u. gut, auch hat der l[iebe] Moritz ein [„liebes“ oder „über“?] braves Frauchen die gute Eltern u[nd] l[iebe] Fanny besuchen uns öfters seid indessen herzlich in steter Liebe geküßt von Euren Euch l[iebenden] [Julie?] u[nd] Herrmann“ // „My dear Helene and dear Max! Hope that you, God willing, are well. Please let soon be heard good from you. We are well and jolly. My dear Herrmann has gone out for a bit. He is so good and well behaved, and dear Moritz has such a good wifey, the good parents und dear Fanny visit us often. Now be heartily kissed in steady love from your loving [Julie?] and Herrmann“
